I also vote for closing older unconfirmed bugs - I've seen many of them.
This would be a good thing. Unconfirmed and open for more than a year is quite unlikely to be confirmed and solved.

TDE is working in different time span - so perhaps 3-4y old bugs should be closed. Or in term of releases for example n-3 version should close, but the decision should be made based on if it can be reproduced or not. So if someone can go through and try to reproduce, it would be a great help I guess. I have tried doing this around tdepim and kgpg.
