yes, I am well aware of that.. my Dell laptop is 4 years old, and I've
had to install the firmware a number of times..
A really good tool for first-off configuration is ceni. It's not in
Debian (yet) but mepis has it, works here on Squeeze.

Squueze, the FIRST thing
I did was install LXDE then trinity:)
that was the whole purpose of installing Squeeze on my laptop, so I
could play with Trinity.. I am running Lenny on my desktop, and I DO NOT
want to mess with my wifes KDE 3 setup right now:)

(kde-squeeze=kde4)

Re: the wlan card : Nothing to do with Trinity at all, just I have the
same and that's how I configure it.
