I am actually building the latest GIT development sources against 12.04 now: https://quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/~trinity/+archive/trinity-nightly-b… As you can see there is some work that needs to be done, but not too bad overall. Tim

I am actually building the latest GIT development sources against 12.04 now: https://quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/~trinity/+archive/trinity-nightly-b… As you can see there is some work that needs to be done, but not too bad overall. Tim

Hello, when you manage to package a working TDE (stable or GIT) for Ubuntu 12.04, I'm interested in getting the source Ubuntu packages, so that I can try to recompile them for my Toshiba AC100, which runs Ubuntu 12.04 armhf. Also, has anyone planned to rebuild the stable 3.5.13 or 3.5.13+updates on Ubuntu 12.04 ? Francois

Hello, when you manage to package a working TDE (stable or GIT) for Ubuntu 12.04, I'm interested in getting the source Ubuntu packages, so that I can try to recompile them for my Toshiba AC100, which runs Ubuntu 12.04 armhf. Also, has anyone planned to rebuild the stable 3.5.13 or 3.5.13+updates on Ubuntu 12.04 ? Francois

I am not going to, as there were many changes to the base system that make 3.5.13 incompatible with 12.04. If someone else wanted to they could, but it won't be particularly easy. Tim

I think "the next Trinity release will hopefully be compatible, but I won't be repackaging the current Trinity release for the Ubuntu version in question, because I have too much on my plate and don't have the time" would be more accurate. You can still grab the source and try to build, the same as anyone else whose distro isn't presently supported.

Maybe when we complete the preparation 3.5.13.1, I could devote to preparation 3.5.13.1 for Precise. But do not promise anything yet :) Slavek --
