TDE 3.5.13.2 Wheezy amd64
I reply to an email, I use 'smart quoting' Actually editing new emails same issue.
Highlighting text to be deleted does not work reliably... the hightlighted text does not stay hightlighted. It takes a few tries to get the text to stay highlighted so I can delete it, very annoying.
Anyone else see this behavior?

am not encountering those problems in the build for kubuntu 12.04 -- but i have encountered a different strange behavior: i have several different "identities," which is to say email addresses, that i use on the same machine. since last week's upgrades i've noticed that kmail no longer observes the default identity and in fact seems to select the one most recently used. it formerly defaulted in replies to the one to which the original message was sent, but that seems no longer to be the case. has led to some confusion.

Please, is there anyone else who watches these problems? I still use Squeeze, so I can not test it - I have not noticed any problems. KMail I use every day - it's my primary mail client.

I'm not using amd64, but TDE 3.5.13.2 Wheezy i686 <-- note
Both smart quoting and replies using only highlighted text work fine. Highlighting to delete also works fine.

Thanks for all the replies. Not sure how to fix it but it seems that my issues are caused by the fact that my /home directory is the same and has been through several Debian upgrades. Upgrading TDE from the start, did a new install of Wheezy & TDE recently, same /home.
I think my .trinity folder has problems. A new use's kmail works as expected, also my test vm works as expected.. I don't want to just start fresh, new .trinity, as there is a lot of email filters, notes, calendars that I need. Not sure how to migrate the good and leave the problems behind.
