Any ideas on why the icons for Desktop and Documents appear as "unknown" in

What if you start konqueror with
konqueror --profile filemanagement
If I recall correctly, KFMclient is an ancient alias that should be
equivalent, but it may have lingering bits that have not been updated in a
very---very long time.
