I've recently upgraded my Debian notebook from 3.5.13.2 to R14. I have a problem with icons in menu. I think there are 2 separate problems. First, some icons in menu appear blurred, especially launcher icon. They're not sharp as previous icons were, they look blurred or semi-transparent. The second problem is with icons in KDE Classic icon set - it looks like some icons are missing after upgrade. At least Graphics, Multimedia, Programming tools and Tools category icons look like they are taken from another theme.
Here is menu from my old computer (in fact it's 3.5.13, not 13.2, but icons are OK): http://postimg.org/image/ichghc3w9/
Icons in Debian notebook after upgrade. Notice blurring in menu launcher icon: http://postimg.org/image/feepaby85/
Is it possible to disable icon semi-transparency? How to re-install classic icon set? MCbx
Hello I've found that the icon files for package_....png are missing from classic icons theme, so icons from another theme are used. Copying icons from 3.5.13-2 backup solved the problem. Is it normal in R14? Marek 'MCbx' W.

Hi Marek, sorry for the late reply. Not sure I understand what icons are missing. Can you explain a little better? Which Debian version are you using?
Cheers Michele

I discussed this with Marek off-list and the issue should be resolved; he will report back with a final yes/no when he has time to check. :-)

Ok, good. Let's wait for his feedback then. Cheers Michele
I tested it in nightly today, after Tim's fix it works and classic theme has proper category icons. MCbx
