I think this has been around along time, I just haven't used KDE as a DE, or Konq as a browser.
The plugin does a signal 11 on flash sites with Konqueror. Can Konq do flash ?
nspluginviewer is a dependancy of kdebase & kdecore,

Are you on 3.5.12 or the nightly builds?
The reason I ask is that a number of fixes for nspluginviewer have been committed to SVN since the release of 3.5.12.
Thanks!
Tim

Thanks for the info. Current Trinity 3.5.12, Debian Squeeze.
I also have TDE 3.5.13 on Squeeze, Youtube does work, Hulu.com does not, hmmm.
TDE 3.5.13 current except for the following errror message with 'apt-get update' tonight: "Failed to fetch http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-nightly-builds/de... Hash Sum mismatch"

I don't think Hulu works for most people right now on linux. I can't get it to work on my boxes with any browser. :[

Not my experience here. I watch Hulu.com, Crackle, & Youtube using a Virtualbox guest of Debian Squeeze, TDE 3.5.12 & latest stable Firefox, 7.0.1a right now. Some times the Youtube 'shows' stop playing after awhile, I stick mainly to Hulu for the same content. Flash is a tricky beast , thats why I run flash in a vm, it always brings down the system, just a matter of how long.

I did the 3.5.13 backport from KDE4 for the latest Adobe Flash plugin, but I can't check Hulu as I'm not in their coverage area (thanks to DRM). The Hulu player does load far enough to tell me that though :-(
I do know that Flash still doesn't load cleanly on some videos (a page refresh is often needed), or at all on some others, and I hope to investigate to what extent this can be improved within the Trinity codebase.

werner p.s.: 1 minor problem encountered so far: akregator does not work because libakregatorprivate.so.0 is missing

Thanks for bringing this to my attention--it has been fixed in GIT and binary builds will fire shortly.

Just in case it helps, I get the same thing when using Konq as a browser.
