Hello everyone! My PCLinuxOS TDE non-official remaster version 2013, January 15 is ready to download!
***Please note that if you already use the previous version of this remaster, and you have followed the procedures to enable the new PCLOS repos as I said in my message titled ''Important note for PCLOS TDE remaster users'', you already have the new version. PCLOS is a rolling release.***
I call it non-official because it doesn't come from the PCLOS team and since it contains software coming from outside of their repos, it is also not supported by them.
It can be seen as a whole as the much-loved PCLOS 2007, but fully updated and upgraded. It is a complete system that can be used as a LiveDVD or it can be installed (from the LiveDVD).
Major apps pre-installed (in no special order): -PCLinuxOS 2013 (completely updated) base system with KDE stripped out and replaced by TDE 3.5.13.1 -KFaenza as the default icon theme instead of Oxygen -Most systems libs are completely updated since the last release -Amarok -K3b -Firefox 18 -Dillo -Dolphin -Konqueror -LibreOffice 3.6 -Quanta plus -VirtualBox -SuperKaramba -Synaptic -VLC media player 2.0.6 -Kaffeine -BleachBit -GParted -QtCurve theme -Baghira theme -The GIMP -QCad -Kontact (Note: I couldn't test completely Kmail, but it seems to work. If it is not good enough, Thunderbird is also pre-installed) -Mozilla Thunderbird -Skype -KMyMoney -P7Zip -All PCLinuxOS regular configuration apps (Most admin tasks should be done from the PCLOS Control Center) -Localisation Manager, to translate your system -LibreOffice Manager
Login info (on the LiveCD): Regular user:guest Password:guest Super user: root Password:root
System requirement: A x86 computer with at least 256mb of RAM. It is a 32bit system, but it can be installed on a 64bit system too.
It is available in a 4-parts zip archive. (Please note that Ark doesn't support muti-part archives, so use another decompression app.)

It would be very appreciated if someone can host the .iso file in a mirror! ***The previous version should be removed from the mirror because they don't use the new repos of PCLOS and they won't update as they should without further modifications. This new ISO contains the required modification.***

I've installed your earlier DVD on one machine, and it works great. Is there a chance more Trinity packages will be available sometime, besides what comes on the DVD? There are a few others I'd like to have, like Kuickshow for example.

Not yet! But you can download the 4 parts, put them in the same directory and extract it with File-roller, Xarchiver, P7Zip (but not Ark, it doesn't support multi-part archives) and you will get the ISO

As of now, the Trinity packages are the same as the previous version that Francois Andriot packaged for me (thanks Francois!) If you can't see it in Synaptic, then it is not available from Francois Andriot repos for PCLinuxOS. Maybe Gwenview can do the job?
