I was just hit by the same problem, but it affected a sd-card in T470 internal card reader. To overcome the problem I need this one-line udev rule to make all "invisible" aka disks only seen in system:/media/ to be seen by the tde aoutomounter again:

# /etc/udev/rules.d/99-disk.rules ENV{ID_TYPE}="disk", ENV{UDISKS_AUTO}="1", ENV{UDISKS_SYSTEM}="0", ENV{UDISKS_SYSTEM_INTERNAL}="0"

So, no more matching of specific vendor names etc.
