Dear all: I sometimes recover data from damaged hard disk. For this i need perform THE MINIMUM things to disk, inspect only the data that i require access or inspect.
Sadly TDE try mount all data and put on desktop the shortcut. This is not wanted feature by me. How disable it? Thanks in advance. Christian

Use a minimal environment. Don't log into TDE or any other GUI environment. Instead, use the vttys and command line tools. Log back into TDE after such maintenance work is complete.
Another option: Create a unique volume label on every filesystem. Then by having a fstab entry for each label that includes the option noauto, mounting will only occur when you mount it manually, and to a location of your choice, rather than deep in /run/.
