Hi
Just a curious almost historical question, I just downloaded and installed for the first time since years, trinity from the live CD, and I saw trinity is uses on Ubuntu on that CD not Kubuntu. Now trinity is a forge of Kubuntu not Ubuntu so I was wondering what is the reason for that decision.

If you want a Trinity desktop, you don't need (or want) KDE (or any other desktop). I'm pretty sure Trinity/KDE predates all Ubuntu's.
