I installed vuescan on my new computer which has already Debian Bullseye and TDE installed. Vuescan was installed without error, as the message on the monitor ended with a '0' to indicate a successful installation. When however I try to open vuescan, the message returned is 'tdeinit cannot install viewscan'.

I would consequently welcome advice as to what to do to get vuescan working.
