The shape of my mouse cursor has been changed by a program, from the normal TDE shapes to a strange vertical bar 60 pixels long. Any ideas on how I get it back to normal?

For some reason, a reboot has returned the cursor to normal. But a restart of X did not. ? so the problem has solved itself.
