Hi,
I've been using Kubuntu 10.10 TDE and want to upgrade to Kubuntu 12.04 (LTS) TDE.
How can I replace KDE 4 on Kubuntu 12.04 installation cd with TDE ?
Haven't found anything regarding this topic on trinity site.

The problem could be that Bob does not intend to re-install, because he has no disk space available or, less surprising, because everything he has previously installed on his actual system would be lost, all adjustments preferences. etc, etc… He could be wondering too about his personnal directory. He wants to abandon KDE4, but did he ever installed / tried / used Trinity?

yes, that is exactly what i'm trying to accomplish - to create live/install TDE media for Kubuntu 12.04
I have followed the official kubuntu cd customization guide and: - removed all kde stuff from original kubuntu 12.4.1 based on assumption all kde stuff there have to be kde4 related - added full trinity TDE - recreated iso image (to my surprise iso was quite big - around 900MB)
upon booting the new image I got stuck in TDE login screen asking login/password, which is wrong (there is somehow user created and login dialog should be skipped when booting live cd) as there are no users created yet ...
then I asked in mailing list for advice/help
