These are some sample screenshots of some of my TDE desktops. (I dedicate each desktop for different tasks, and fix the applications so that they always open in that desktop.)
Pale Moon and Kmail use my original KDE3 colors; but for some reason the newer Firefox, Seamonkey, and some other applications won't yield, and kept reverting to a white background. Also, a few applications keep using my KDE4 color scheme, but I don't mind that so much.
With a little help from E. Liddell,* who shared his css files, I have plagiarized and adapted, and made a new scheme for those applications that kept reverting to the white background, and here is what I have thus far. It still needs a little refinement, but it's a lot better than it was.
Here is another reason that I don't discard my old config files. At least it looked darned purty, and I want to keep it like this.
Bill
* I was about to write "Mr Liddell" but I could be wrong about the gender. And note well, Kate, that's 3 Ls in Liddell, as in "Alice in Wonderland" Liddell, as in Liddell & Scott. :-]

Hi!
I use qtcurve with Breeze pre-defined theme. For window border, I made a port of Plasma 5 border. It is not yet to be released with R14.0.5, but you can have it here:
https://bugs.trinitydesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2833
And of course, it will be part of my upcoming PCLinuxOS TDE remaster too.
Thank you and have a great day! -Alexandre
Thanks for the answer!
How do I install this theme in the system? I unpacked the archive in /opt/trinity/share/apps/twin/icewm-themes/, but I do not see Brise-TDE-v4 in the list of the theme manager in the tde control panel.
best regards, Oleg Levenets.

Hi!
In Control Center, you will see it in the window decoration category after choosing IceWM theme engine.
Thanks! -Alexandre
Hmm...I do not see IceWM theme engine. Should I install something else?

Hmmm... In the way TDE is packaged for PCLinuxOS I didn't had to install anything, but maybe on Ubuntu or Debian yes. Search in you package manager for something with either kwin, twin or icewm as keywords. If you can't find it, I'll have to install Debian in a Virtual Machine with TDE to let you know the name of tthe package.

'm using trinity 14.0.4 compiled for Slackware64 14.2. I see by default the twins in the Window Manager Window Decoration in my Control Panel TDE, but nowhere there Brise-TDE-v4 themes for change...

Yes, tdeartwork was compiled with the option -DBUILD_AL=ON, I see icewm-themes in /opt/trinity/share/apps/twin/, but I still do not see where I could switch Brise-TDE-v4, MenschMaschine or Model which is in the package.

Yes, but don't forget that it will not be released with R14.0.5, but rather with R14.1.0, so it's maybe early to put it in tip and trick area.
It's funny to me to see that when I released my port of Breeze window decoration, there was zero demand for it, and now there is some 😊

Maybe multi-megabyte screenshots could be emailed directly to Michele instead of posted to the list? One or two huge messages aren't much of a problem, but a bunch of them in a row can choke things up a bit for those of us without the fastest connections.

That sounds a good suggestion, perhaps send to me and Slavek together. I should keep this in mind in future occasion :-)
And thanks to all those who have sent screenshots so far, some of them will look really good on a release page :-)
