Hello, I use Trinity with Linux Artix and am actually happy with it. But there are a few small things that bother me, like the constant crash reports regarding Konqueror. I know this from earlier (KDE 3), but not from any current distribution.
Since I can't do anything about it anyway, can I stop this pop-up window?
Thanks, Michael
I can't reproduce the crashes, so just from memory: It always says SIG11 (SIGSEGV).

Can you copy paste the crash report - or better attach in txt file?

Well, you said previously "like the constant crash reports regarding Konqueror" ... and now you can not reproduce it. Perhaps I misunderstood something, because "constant" is very confusing together with "I can't reproduce the crashes".
I should say, I have to wait for the next crash, cause I can't reproduce it.
(Sorry for my English, maybe the wrong words...)
But that is not the problem, google is full of such things (Konqueror or kde and crash)
The problem is, how can I prevent popping up these reports. There is a option for starting a application like -- no crashhandler, but I don't know this exactly.
Can you help?

Hi Michael,
A safe mode google search for konqueror, kde, and crash yields 631 hits in the last year. I checked the first few and they're real.
A safe mode google search for konqeror, tde, and crash yields 9 hits in the last year. I checked them all and none of them seem to relate to what you are describing.
I use TDE seven days a week. I see a few KMail crashes every year but that is all. My KMail checks seven IMAP accounts with hundreds of mail folders and totalling roughly 16GB. I could wish KMail never crashed but I am pushing it quite hard.
What sort of things are you doing in TDE Konqueror when it crashes?
--Mike
Google Translate: I'm not actually doing anything special. That's why I can't reproduce it. I'm attaching a report.

Have you allowed TDE to file any crash reports (systemabsturz melden)?
They contain stack backtraces which will help the TDE developers to see what went wrong.
If so, do you have a crash report number?
Next time you have such a crash you could also, if you wish, post the stack backtrace (Rückverfolgung) from the crash report here, in case someone here can see what is going wrong.
We don't have access to the crash reports - only the TDE developers can see them.

I have solved it for now. I have to start the program, e.g. Konqueror, as follows:
kfmclient openProfile filemanagement --nocrashhandler
Thanks for now.

Are you using gtk3-tqt-wahtever or kgtk3-tqt-whatever? If yes, purge them.
