Would somebody please confirm the following two behaviors?
One ===
* Configure Konqueror to detailed list or tree view. * Select a file. * Use the keyboard cursor keys to move up and down the list.
The selection block follows the cursor keys but not the highlighting.
The highlighting seems to follow the cursor keys in icon view.
Two ===
* Create two empty files: 0001 and 0002. * Rename 0002 to 0000.
Konqueror does not automatically refresh the list to resort the files. A manual refresh is required.
History =======
As far as I can see in my KDE 3 VM, both quirks are inherited from KDE3.
Would these issues be easy to fix before 14.1.0?

Just add feature requests for them. That allows them to not be lost and allows them to be worked on if and when the dev's have time for it.
In Konqueror:
Help > Report Bug/Request Enhancement
Them select the closest match in the Application dropdown.
Kinda painful the first time, but after that not so bad. ;)

It should already select the most suitable application automatically. Slavek has put in place a system that matches each application with the correct repositoy on TGW so that the bug report is logged at the right place. So possibly don't change it unless you are sure of what you are selecting :-)

Yeah, but it doesn't. It just selects 'konqueror' and there are 30 odd Konqueror sub selections.
In Darrell's case the proper selection is probably 'konqueror/file list view' (if I understood his OP correctly).
