Hi
I am finally on the R24 machine. It is a third party package and that is
why
it does not appear in the menu.
If the application is in the menu, just drag and drop
it to the panel
(or drag it to the desktop and select 'copy here'). You can also right
click on the panel and select 'add application to panel'. If the app
is not in the panel menu, select 'add non-TDE application' and fill
I do not find this
*add non-TDE application
*
where is this supposed to be*?*
why was the old way of coping an icon into the planed by drag and drop, removed?

out the form (easier/more straight forward than right
clicking on the
desktop and selecting 'create new link to application'). You can click
the icon in the form to change it (e.g. there is an xemacs icon).
