Hi Christian,
the best place to report an issue is TGW. The Kuickshow is part of tdegraphics:
https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea/TDE/tdegraphics/issues
Note: You can find out that there is also a separate GIT repository for Kuickshow, however, it is identical to the code as in tdegraphics and as a separate repository it will no longer be used starting with R14.1.0.
Cheers

I'm confused, because the attached image is not "all black". Do you mean the "scope" background is black and should NOT be?
The image I see seems "OK". I see a yellow trace above a blue trace on a black scope background with scope reticles.
Regards, Jonesy

So did I
OK. Now I apologize! I saw the image correctly in my email (groupware) and then again in `display`. Then I stopped. That was sloppy of me!
So, here `kuickshow` _does_ show an all black image.
Maybe a data point: `display` also shows the error warning:
display: length and filesize do not match `VPS/map002.bmp' @ warning/bmp.c/ReadBMPImage/830.
I am sorry I was not helpful before! Jonesy
Dear Jonesy I know that the image is not black, but is showed as all back. Sorry i fail to attach a screen capture Best Regards Christian

Confirmed. I remember I already saw this phenomenon with a .bmp file many, many years ago.
However, in kmail the image is shown correctly.
Kind regards, Stefan

Here, on 64 bit stretch, kview is used, and shows it correctly.

It shows fine as a preview in kuickshow, the problem is that kuickshow thinks its an 800 x 1078 image and cannot display it full size (or FS +/-).

Indeed. In kuickshow file list > properties the filesize is given as 800x480. In Imagemagick `display` the filesize is also given as 800x480, with: display: length and filesize do not match `VPS/map002.bmp' @ warning/bmp.c/ReadBMPImage/830.
It would seem the image is snafu, and kuickshow just not handle it well. But, how should it handle a b0rk3d image. I guess I was Just Lucky with `display`s results.
