Hi,
I updated a jessie machine to stretch, but tdm did not start, because there is not start skript in /etc/init.d.
So I looked into the debian package and found out, that there is only a systemd-skript, but my computer starts with sys-V. Could the update skript keeps this situation in mind - i.e. is this a bug or a feature.
Fine regards Rolf

Init script should be present - the /etc/init.d/tdm file is properly contained in the tdm-trinity package.
Cheers

Over night, the start skript has converted itself from a systemd to a sys-V skript - or my glasses have been more clean this mornig.
Indeed the skript is there and after copy it into /etc/init.d and run update-rc.d everything is fine.
Many Thanks Rolf
