This is on a machine running David Hare's Exe Debian Wheezy respin.

When I add a user, the new user doesn't show up in either the user list in Kuser, or on the login screen. It does create a home directory, but it doesn't add the user to the extra_groups from adduser.conf. The new user can login to TDE at the login screen, but the first-run wizard runs at every login. I tried adding the user with kuser and from a shell with adduser, with the same result.

I ran out of time and had to leave, but later realized I should've checked ownership on the new home directory. Before I go back and try again, can anyone offer any other suggestions?

I tried it on another machine with Exe installed from the same CD with, I think, the same set of other stuff (multimedia etc.) installed, and everything worked fine.
