Currently Bitcoin is the only option, Paypal disabled. I can wait, curious as to how long that may be.
thank you.

A little explanation: We want donation to be transparent. For the fiat currency, this means setting up an account at a banking institution, which we want do when a legal entity is created. This is my task that will take some time. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is naturally decentralized, so there is nothing to prevent us from creating a wallet. And we can make an interface for a transparent view of transactions in our wallet. That is why we have temporarily set donations in Bitcoins only.
If you want to donate but do not want to deal with Bitcoins, there is a viable way. It is possible to use some exchange that does not require registration, which allows bank transfer or transfer by credit card to send a fiat currency and let the Bitcoins be sent to the Bitcoin wallet of the TDE project. For example, Anycoin.cz can be used to send euros by bank transfer. Similarly, SimpleSwap.io can be used to send various fiat currencies by credit card.

You are not alone. Servers nowadays simply delete mail with "disinformation", so this is to be expected. Propbably the new boss of OpenAI makes the calls ...

It's a reply to a thread that was last active about five weeks ago.

Bummer, I was rooting for the Skynet theory.

In both cases where you've said this and I bothered to check, the first mail in the thread was sent in May (in this case, May 10), and the conversation had been dormant for some time.

Hi Greg, you can get the address on the donation page, either using the "open in wallet" or "copy bitcoin URI" buttons. Cheers Michele
TDE URI "bitcoin:bc1qkakh55kwdzkdpczc9l78mf6mdem4xm6pmgdp38?amount=0.0005&message=TDE%20donation"
That does not appear to be "just" the bitcoin address. I am using SimpleSwap.io, exchange.
thank you gregm

BTW, the above address was copied from the donation link with a predefined amount of 0.5 mBTC. If you want to donate an amount that is not predefined, it is possible to use the address:
bc1q52gwsfps0acdg5rdekjhzvch4a6tf5pc036e5z
You can see this address under the link "other mBTC": bitcoin:bc1q52gwsfps0acdg5rdekjhzvch4a6tf5pc036e5z?message=TDE%20donation
Regardless of which address you use, both are directed to the same wallet.
