Incidentally -- this is off-topic, new question, so a new thread --
Why are your* timestamps set in the future? My replies to your emails are actually dated an hour or so *before* your original emails. The time of your email is actually set in the future, at least an hour after my system clock, which is set to local time, PDT US.
Are you a visitor from the future, here to warn us against where our bad mailing list behavior will lead us (that is, to certain disaster)? Or is there some more reasonable explanation?
Please see attached screenshot for proof.
Bill
P.S. * The use of 'you' and 'your' refer to Dan Youngquist, or at least his future self.

I wasn't going to mention that, as doing so would be a violation of the Prime Directive, but since you ratted me out... :)
The machine I wrote those emails on developed a time issue for which the quick-and-dirty solution was to set the timezone back one hour. It works out OK locally, but apparently not so much elsewhere. I haven't worried about figuring it out because that machine is way past due for a reinstall anyway.

Just so long as you are aware of it. You wouldn't want other ordinary people figuring out your secret, as it might disrupt your mission.
Whenever I see timestamps that get too far out-of-whack, I worry about deeper issues, either on your end or mine.
