So I saw TDE has a colour picker, named KolourPicker *, but I can't seem to find what package it's in.
Distribution: MX-19, non-systemd [Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)]
Would someone know even a partial package name so I can track it down?
Or maybe a better search tool? I admit I just throw 'stuff' at the search variations I happen to know...
Thanks, Michael
* Chapter 2 of the TDE Help Center.
Ref: KolourPicker The Kicker plugin “Kolourpicker” currently has no documentation.
Tried: michael@local [~/common]# apt-cache search KolourPicker michael@local [~/common]# axi-cache search KolourPicker 0 results found. Did you mean: colourpicker ? michael@local [~/common]# apt-cache search colourpicker r-cran-colourpicker - GNU R colour picker tool for selecting colours in plots michael@local [~/common]# apt-cache --full search KolourPicker michael@local [~/common]# apt-cache --full search kolourpicker michael@local [~/common]# which kolourpicker michael@local [~/common]# which KolourPicker
IMO you want "kcolorchooser" or "kcoloredit" :) Nik

applications for which you do not see the binary are kicker applets - use the right mouse button on the panel and select Add applet from the menu.
Thank you Nik! / Slávek!,
I do! kcolorchooser is under the Graphics menu, works well.
And, huh? Maybe I just don’t get applets? Applets don’t have full program entries?
I went through the ‘Add applet to Panel’ which gives the option to add the ‘Color Picker’ and ‘Weather Report’ (both have the same icon as the Help Center program manual).
And then Slávek replied to the other question and solved my misunderstandings...
Best, Michael
PS: I don't mind updating docs, but where would I need to go to update the content in the "Trinity Help Center?" Admittedly it’s just a baby step to add Slávek’s explanation to the ‘Applet Manuals’ base page (which is currently empty), but documentation is the bane of software development, and hey, I’ve been paid to do it before and don’t really mind the task...
