Konsole supports reordering tab sessions with keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+Left|Right) and the tab context menu.
Is reordering possible with the mouse using drag-and-drop? I am unable to do that, but perhaps I have something misconfigured.

Not drag-n-drop. But, right-click and select "Move Session Right|Left".

I just tested that, and I wasn't able to drag-and-drop them either. There are no relevant settings that I can see. Maybe file an RFE?
You can, of course, use the mouse to open the tab context menu and select the "Move Session Left" and "Move Session Right" options, but that's even more clunky than using the keyboard.

Yeah, I mentioned that option. :) Not too clunky for me but I was stumped when I tried drag-and-drop with the mouse. Stumped like a near-sighted lizard that can't zap the fly. :)

Yeah, these days being able to drag-n-drop tabs is a handy (missing) thing, not just in Konsole but in general. Issue logged on https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea/TDE/tqt3/issues/224
