Happy New Year, all!
A few months ago I saw that it was possible to put text with the icons on the KMail toolbar and breathed a sigh of relief. I could at last move my husband from Icedove (Thunderbird) to KMail, without being cruel to him, and my life would get a whole lot easier. I could finally have him on Maildir not Mbox and could remove the viruses he loves downloading, without destroying half his email. He downloads viruses with gay abandon, and whilst they do not hurt him, he has Windows using friends.
I am about to set his new computer up. I am looking at things on my computer to refresh my memory. And the text has disappeared again! I am really sad about this. Does anyone know where it has disappeared to or where I ought to be looking? I hope that the problem is PEBKAC, and thus easily solved with your help. It is KMail 1.9.10 on TDE 3.5.13.2.
Please help! I can't face another eternity of trying to protect his friends from viruses on Icedove. I tend to get cowardly and not run a virus check. :-( I have Googled and Googled. I have been Googling for a week or two. :-(
He is away, and I want to have it set up properly for him when he gets home on Thursday.
Thanks, Lisi P.S. I once found seven little .exe files sitting in his home directory doing nothing!! They were easy to delete. :-)

I haven't yet installed TDE 3.5.13.2, it's still 3.5.13.1 here thus it might has changed in your version but --- couldn't you simply press the right mouse button on any toolbar icon, go to Text Position and choose any of "Icons Only, Text Only, Text Alongside Icons, Text Under Icons"? That's the way, it works here.
Good luck Gerhard

Gerhard,
You were faster. So I can just confirm that this is the 3.5.13.2 identical.

PEBKAC! I knew that it must be. Thank you so much guys. This is a wonderful list.
I have had a right saga with this computer, and am getting a little fraught! The original box was faulty (very) and it took some hours of increasing frustration spread over 3 days before I a) realised it, b) got the firm to accept liability and c) coped with a compromise that they could achieve over the New Year period and d) accepted it. (And have spent a lot of time worrying that there ought to have been a better method to achieve what I actually wanted, rather than having to compromise - and failing.)

I use Slávek's repositories, so have effectively a rolling release. I didn't realise that I had reached 3.5.13.2 until I checked before writing this.

Everyone who uses my PPA to correctly noticed that the update arrive. With the official announcement of the new updated packages for the upcoming 3.5.13.2 I waited before I have all updated packages uploaded. The reason was inter alia that, along with this will be available also packages builded for Debian Wheezy.
Announcement can be expected soon... :)

Hello François,
at present it is not yet final 3.5.13.2 - only a preliminary version. In any case, welcome, if you can test the building even before the final release. It would be great to have solved all problems with builds before release the final version. Soon I will add to git scripts script to create tarballs. Will it suffice that way?
Thanks Slávek
