Forget that there were packages for Arch Linux! Long time no one cares about these packages, no one gives their time on maintenance == packages are very unsuitable for use. Everyone just ask "where to get packages for Arch". But if nobody pays effort to create packages and especially to maintain, then packages will never exist.
We would need someone who know how to create packages for Arch and can devote their time to maintain repository. But for a long time no such person.

Slavek, I perfectly understand this problem. Now another problem is that many of us (I for instance) are only "amateurs".
I've got several computers. I could download source code, I could let machines chew it for days and spit out packages...
But I'm hardly able to do more than type in the compile order. I was never able to understand a line of C/C++ (my "skills" stop at Basic or tcl/tk).
My point is: I'd be glad to help, but how to get understanding in creating packages and maintaining them (I'm not specificaly talking about Arch, which I never used)?
Thierry
Hi I know how to create packages... cause I read archwiki. I will try to compile packages and try the result :)

I hosted this repo (this is my url) but no longer have the time to keep that machine in order, after a breakdown it had its been collecting dust. A uni connection won't solve the arch Linux problem though, but hopefully PKGBUILDS should let you compile trinity from scratch
