Hi,
I'm thinking about making a Trinity Raspberry Pi image based on Raspbian, mostly because I don't see feature-full ready-to-use images avilable for the Raspberry Pi. All of the available images are very minimal and need some work to get to something interesting. I'm thinking about having all the regular common-use Linux software such as LibreOffice and Firefox, with a full-feature TDE desktop environment.
So, I'd like to know if there would be some interest in it, if it worth doing it. Also, how many persons here have a Pi?
Thank you! -Alexandre

I had something like this running already, though the server appears to have gone offline over a year ago. If there's interest I will see if I can reactivate it.

I take that back; the server is running and the images are current with respect to TDE but the base image these are generated from is out of date, hence the confusion. I'll see what I can do to update the base image and get some proper sha512sums/gpg signatures in there.

I had recently revamped the mirror system and I think there might still be a glitch when attempting to access certain directories. Does this URL work? http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/embeddedimages/raspberryp...
Thanks!

Nope, A nice big "404" in bold, big text. Very readable, but!
Thanks!

Did that work for you?
I thought I had fixed the trailing slash issue; if that worked then I guess I didn't.

Yes. A couple of times with redirections to different mirrors - trinity.motivewellbeing.org and ftp.fau.de.

I was just modifying the mirror control file; try again?
There are still some bugs in handling symlinks when files have not yet been mirrored, but for mirrored files the symlink handling is now fixed.

OK, Lisi, try ... http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/trinitydesktop.org/trinity/embeddedimages/raspberrypi/debian/ That is what I actually get when I try ... http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/embeddedimages/raspberrypi/debian HTH, Glen
PS. I strongly advise that when people post long links that might line-wrap then use the <...> pair to prevent this. G.

Just as a FYI I strongly advise NOT to directly link to anything but the ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net URL unless you are targetting an older version of TDE that has been released and unmodified for several weeks at minimum. The mirrors do not normally contain up to date package files for the moving target repositories such as the TDE nightly builds; the ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net URL intelligently fills in the newest files that are not yet up on the mirrors.

I get the University of Kent Mirror Service if I click on that URL, Glen. But I take Tim's point about mirrors and new files.
