I would like to use Compton with TDE is it possible? I have tried a few things but have yet to get it to work on login. I can manually start it after login but can't make it autostart.

For the upcoming R14.0.0 Compton is already included as part of the TDE - compton-tde, replacement of kompmgr.

OK built a new system and I can't find TDE - compton-tde anywhere.
This is on Debian Wheezy.

You're build tdebase with option WITH_XCOMPOSITE or WITH_ALL_OPTIONS?
