Greetings; new sub to the list, had trinity installed for about a week.
It solved a huge fonts problem I had with wheezy's kmail.
However, it appears that everytime I add a new filter, an old one falls out of the list and quits working. Since I have about 60 folders, I can only setup "sort to folder" rules for about 24 or so before this "culling" seems to start. And the droppage does not effect the install presets, just the ones I've added, most of which were generated by the "filter on Subject/To:/From:" in the message pulldown. And then fine tuned for changes in [content] of the subject, and in the order of application.
I don't know if its too small a buffer assignment for filters or what.
I have 8Gb of memory in this amd64 (phenom) powered box, so memory, within reason, should not be a problem.
Is this known? A fix in progress?
2nd kmail related question...
Several previous versions of kmail, it has had a dbus port, by which I could have a 'new mail watcher' script send a message to kmail to have it go get that mail which had arrived in /var/spool/mail by way of a fetchmail/procmail/spamassassin/clamscan chain that has been running for several years here, unloading that duty from kmail. So all it has to do is go get that mail when it comes in.
That script is now logging errors to the shell I started it in because the dbus target string doesn't exist.
AMD64 bit 3.2.0 kernel running ATM.
Thank you.
Cheers, Gene Heskett

I have 209 and no problem. TDE 3.10.13.2 on Wheezy. It must be something to do with TDE 14.0 or individual your set-up.
But thank you for making me count. It's high time I had a cull!

I stopped using kmail many years ago, but I also had this bug when I used it and its been one of the main reasons i stopped using it, that probably happens only if you have a bunch of forders, filters and emails, dunno, just wanted to say I also had this bug loooong ago, its not new

I would not have counted, they are all enumerated in .kde/apps/configs/kmailrc.

Well, a small ray of sunshine, I am gradually re-creating them by hand, from the main menu filters, not using the message>create filter script, and about have them all working again. But it's a bit like waiting for the other shoe to drop. :)
FWIW, I did remove the "run it by spamassassin if <256k" filter, as thats already done by procmail here. No use wearing out the spinning tire twice I say. ;-)
