I'd like to request you VERY much to integrate your work into major Linux distros (Red Hat/Debian/Ubuntu/openSUSE).
Since you already have debs/rpms ready, it should not be too hard.
(For me, of particular importance is future Debian 7.0 "wheezy") -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov"

I don't think it's up to trinity devs to decide in which distros trinity is included. You can integrate trinity yourself into your installation by using repos that are provided by trinity team. If packets for your distro doesn't exist you can try building trinity manually.

I tried to persuade Mandriva to continue with KDE 3.5 some time ago, the answer was a flat NO and they show no sign of changing their minds.
I'm sure most people here would love this to happen, but we don't have the power to do it. The distros will only include a package if enough people ask for it or are already using it, so your best bet is to spread the word! Community pressure is the only way to achieve the result you want.
In the mean time we will keep building packages.

There are several things required for getting included in distro repositories. One is having user repositories, another is having a userbase (aka demand), another important one is having a maintainer or developer working on the distro, to help you.
At this point though, unofficial repositories aren't really that bad.
