I got this almost done, but the time ran out :-/ I will look forward to clean up and finish or somewhat finish and will push a PR to your repo in TGW. I was focused primary on kmilo and had to rework all the relevant backends. Now kmilo is able to identify which mixer is running and can pass the commands (via dcop) to .... kmix for now. Here also the OSD works. tmix got a dcop interface and I can get/set the volume and mute via the interface, but need to integrate in kmilo. It seems I am still missing something.
