The Trinity Desktop Environment source code is now in a final freeze for v3.5.13. This means that NO ALTERATIONS of any type will be accepted. Source tarballs are in the process of being built.
Distribution packagers, now is the time to get your final binary packages built for release. If you encounter any build failures on your distribution you will need to patch around them via your build scripts.
As a reminder, the official 3.5.13 release will occur on November 1st, 2011. Official binary packages for Debian Squeeze, as well as Ubuntu Lucid through Oneiric will be available at that time. No Ubuntu LiveCD respins will be available on the release date, and LibreOffice packages for Oneiric are pending upstream patch acceptance into the LibreOffice project.

Hello, thanks Tim, and all the other contributors, for the work on TDE 3.5.13. On my side, I've spent my Sunday building the RPM packages, and this evening I already have built and uploaded all TDE 3.5.13 core components + dependencies + some applications for the 3 distributions I'm working on: RHEL 5, RHEL 6, and Fedora 15. I'm ready to release all of them on November 1st.
I still have some build-related patches to submit, I have incorporated them in my packages for now, waiting for the SVN to be unfrozen.
After the release, I will look into making a Fedora 15 LiveCD with TDE 3.5.13 on it. I've never done this before but I'm used to building custom installation media on RHEL 6, so it should be mostly the same procedure, since the respin tools are the same.
I will also try to add the missing translation for my language (French), because I see that the new features of 3.5.13 are still in english only.
Thanks Francois Andriot

This sounds very good!
Could you provide a brief set of installation instructions for RedHat and Fedora, similar to the ones already available at http://www.trinitydesktop.org/installation.php? Just send the text file to me and I'll make sure it goes on the installation instructions page for 3.5.13.
Also, do you want your packages mirrored on our mirror system or do you have something better already in place?
Thanks again for all your work on this; Trinity is now for the first time available on four major Linux distributions!

Hello every Trinity fans, I inform you that, as announced, I've successfully built a TDE 3.5.13 LiveCD based on Fedora 15 x86_64. The ISO is < 600 MB and it should be available on the TDE mirrors when they're ready.
On my side, I'm looking for ARM builds of TDE, for Debian Squeeze and Ubuntu Oneiric. Are there any plans for ARM releases ?
Thanks Francois Andriot

We have ARM builds for Debian Squeeze this time around, but not for Oneiric. If the builds work well then I will look at adding Ubuntu ARM builds to the next release.

On this note,
If anyone has ARM hardware and wants to help test, that would be great!
