We have seen an error in Konqueror for the translation (french).

The expression "open in background tab" is not translate.

I don't know for KDE, but I know translations for Qt :)

translations are not inserted in C++ strings (very ugly), but are put in a ".ts" file. You have to use QtLinguist graphical tool, then Release in the menu.
