skype and pulse audio

Hi I'm trying to get skype sound to work but apparently the monkeys at MS removed alsa support and replaced it with pulse, which is rubbish. Even though I have pulse enable (pclos - ali's remaster), it still doesn't show up. Is there a fix to re-enable alsa or the like? Kate

Last post ack the list archives was in August 2017, after which the list was silent, and my msgs were apparently routed to /dev/null. But I didn't unsubscribe. My ISP has been known to block/bounce but pearsoncomputing.net was in their "whitelist", I put it there yonks ago. Hi, I made an accout with name "jürgen", password "jürgen" and the home directory is named "jürgen" too (for testing purpose only). Without tdm i.e. from a console I can login without any problems, but TDM-Login says "wrong password" So is it a bug or a feature? Fine regards Rolf

Konqueror crashes

Since I've reinstalled Trinity on my OpenSuSE Leap 15 machine, Konqueror (kfmclient openProfile filemanagement) sometimes crashes when I move the cursor over the entry for a PDF file (any PDF file). If I'm quick enough, I can right-click and select Open With... kPDF.) Tonight I tried to send the crash report that results to Trinity, but it just hangs there, 'waiting to connect...' How can I get that info into your hands? Leslie

hello, please see the attached image. when I have unreads in my IMAP inbox I get these weird question mark icons. Once I have read them -> they disappear. Am I missing a certain font set or something simple? Thank you all, Calvin

Drop support for TDE on Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty)

Hi all, In connection with the official release of Ubuntu 18.10 (Cosmic) I propose to drop support for TDE on Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty) for upcoming TDE R14.0.6. The official support for this distribution ended January 13, 2018. Any objections? Cheers -- Slávek
