I was directed to the Trinity project by the Q4OS team. I'd like to make a feature request for tdepim. I don't know if it's a big lift or not, but I use port 563/snntp to connect to my USENET provider. Could that be added to KNode? Let me know if there is better way to direct the feature request.
Thanks in advance,

1. You can provide the port in the configuration of the provider in knode. Is it not working, because of the protocol?
2. Usually requests are placed in TGW. This guaranties, that they will be not forgotten - https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea

I'm not sure. I'll see if I can get that to work.

In case anyone is wondering, there are NNTP servers that do not even accept non-encrypted (port 119) connections. I tried KNode as well and really liked it, but had to switch to other client once I stumbled upon a few NNTPS servers. It's 2025 and encrypted connections are a must.
I know this was just "me too" follow up without anything valuable, but just in case people don't find this important at first, I want to let everyone know that it is, in fact, important.

OK,s o it is a request about implementing TLS for knode. Can you create this request in TGW?
