So, when you set up a panel to autohide after certain amount of time (doesn't matter if it's the main panel or additional, user-made one) and check "bring back when user moves mouse" (the checkbox that lists all the different variations where mouse could be moved to bring back the panel, like upper-left screen corner, left edge, bottom edge, etc.) after clicking apply and letting the panel hide, moving mouse to the selected edge does nothing and the panel becomes completely inaccessible. I have to manually hide panels with buttons, because otherwise I can't bring it back.
No idea if it's the right place to bring bugs like that, just wanted to let you know as I've decided to main TDE from now on (so expect more reports like that, sadly can't contribute any code to fix those as I am not confident enough to write a good code and also I don't have a second machine to test stuff on).

Hi rave002,
Panel autohide has always sorta been bugged. It'll work for a good long time then will get 'stuck' down. Easiest band-aid ‘fix’ is to hit ALT+F1 which will pull up the menu. Then turn off autohide, then turn it back on. It’ll then usually work for awhile again. Eventually it just annoyed me (it generally takes long enough to ‘break’ again that I forget about ALT+F1), so I now just leave the panel always visible, but allow apps to be visible over the panel.
Bugs go here:

A link is also off the main TDE page: https://trinitydesktop.org/
I feel the same about KDE. I tried the latest KDE last spring, but it couldn't read my TDE mailbox, just kept crashing KMail. Nor could I figure out how to change the background for each desktop.
If you’re looking for an easy OS to use with TDE, you might try MX Linux. I, and several others on this list, have been using it for years (6? 9?). See the Wiki for install instructions, and Thierry has a premade remix as well.
Welcome to TDE!
Best, Michael
