Hi Guys, Just installed Alexandre's live CD PCLinuxOS with Trinity Desktop.
If you look in "Trinity Control Center" "KDE Components" Component Chooser and Default Applications, contain the same options and for all intents and purpose are identical except for the name.
Now got this installed on at least half a dozen machines and it seems to be OK. Thanks Alexandre.

Not sure which TDE version is there, but it must be on a transition path. In the latest sources, KDE Components has been replaced by TDE Components and same goes for Component chooser and Default Application. Cheers Michele
Hi Michele,
1st I seem to be back in the condition where I can't see my own posts on these lists.

Thank you for your reply. It definitely says "KDE Components" But I thought that it was worth mentioning here.

I think we have past the time when email was reliable[1]. I lost the ability to send/receive to/from this list with my long used regular email account in December. It still seems to work OK with the other 70 or so mailing lists I subscribe to, but with so many it's hard to be sure there aren't other failures. I'm able to post here now only as a result of having created a new email account independently of my ISP, earthlink.net, using the Google email system instead, and resubbing with the new address.

I agree with you ! I seem to have gone through this cycle several times now having changed ISP and tried several Email providers. I'm using a Google provided address and have sent mail sucessfully through all ISP except "Freeserve", who for some reason are unable to explain why ! So my conclusion is that since I can no longer see my posts appearing, that something is going on in the return path.
I'm going to try to send this post via another provider.
Hi Baron,
This is from a new install of Alexandre's PCLinuxOS live CD.
Perhaps Alex can give some hints. I haven't tried his versions, so not sure what TDE version (and up to what day) is running.
Thank you for your reply. It definitely says "KDE Components" But I thought that it was worth mentioning here.
I didn't doubt the "KDE Components", just explained that in the latest sources the writing have been updated.
I don't remember if it was you who was waiting for building scripts for Debian/Ubuntu, but anyway, if you are still wondering about them, Slavek and I have decided to release them after v14.0.0 is out of the door. This to be able to focus our time on the finalization of v14.0.0, without getting "distracted" by providing user support for the scripts. After v14.0.0 is out of the door, the scripts will come, they are in our plans.
Cheers Michele
I am glad you will release the build scripts as I am tempted to build 14 myself and upload it to my repository.
