After the latest update, my Debian stable install of TDE had a
complete change in progress dialog.
Since I have more than one system with TDE, I was able to get a
screenshot of what progress dialogs used to look like, the "graphical"
one, and what they look like now, the "text" one.
Did I miss an announcement?
Anyone else had this problem?

Hi All,
Stupid question time, and really completely off topic for this group, but my
search-fu didn't really find anything, and there’s a good chance someone here
knows, so...
Why is almost every non-user program’s priority 0 (nice at -20)? Instead of
them having priorities scattered based upon system importance say between 0
and 5?
Logically it just doesn’t seem that basically every priority in Nix should be
either 0 (system app) or 20 (user app).
Just a dumb question that’s been in the back of my brain for years.
Best,
Michael

Hi Humans, AIs and others
Is anyone else experiencing the following.
When I choose properties (as in right clicking on) for a PDF file, it crashes
Konqueror. If I do it from the desktop, it crashes the desktop (kdesktop).
I've tried it on two computers, it happens on both. Going to try on two more
computers after sending this email.
Let me know,
Kate

Hi all!
I just upgraded my devuan boxes to beowulf. Most things work as expected, but there are 2 issues that just kill my nerves:
1) I cannot change mouse acceleration any more. TDE settings are ignored, as are any changes I do with "xinput"
2) DPI settings are not correct anymore: I have dpi set to 120 via tde controlcenter. After the upgrade gtk2-applications still use 120 dpi, but TDE ignores the dpi-settings, it uses 96. Now this is quite irritating.
Has somebody else had these issues after upgrading?

This happens to me on Buster with 14.0.6 whether using the .deb or the mozilla.org build. Google
hits mostly seem to point to building various apps rather than simply using them. On Tubuntu 18.04
the same mozilla.org firefox-esr-60.5.0 built works fine, other than the UI mousetype which is
upstream GTK fault.
Anyone else have this problem?
