Hello all, I've installed openSUSE 42.2 and so upgraded to TDE 14.0.4 (previously I couldn't on my old 13.1, something broke so I stayed at 14.0.0). I don't know which of the two is responsible, but now, when I plug in an external drive, it gets mounted twice. On my desktop I see the drive itself, and the partition. For example, when I plug in my 16GB mac formated usb key, I get both "14.8 GB removable device", mounted on /deb/sdg, and "macUSBDrive", mounted on /dev/sdg1. Of course the former throws an error if I try to open it. This is not so bad and I can live with it, but I wonder where this is distribution specific, machine specific or if you all see this too. cursor problems (again)

I have downloaded the Debian package big-cursor (I have sadly given up on comixcursors for now - I'll try again in Stretch). Setting up power-off icon

I want to set up a large power-off button, with an icon, preferably on the desktop but on the panel would do. The ordinarily available one will not do because this is for someone with very poor sight and the ordinary power-off button is inextricably linked with lock screen. Well, I can't extricate it. I THINK I can manage the three other large icons that are needed on the desktop, but this one has stymied me. I could rephrase the question: how do I produce an icon that, when clicked, operates /sbin/poweroff. Jessie with TDE 14, installed from Slávek's repositories. Replacing a badly scammed Windows 7! Help!! Lisi

Konqueror has improved since KDE 3.5, but I can run Konqueror-KDE4 in Trinity from a menu item with the command /usr/bin/konqueror, and thus get the best of both worlds. Some other KDE applications have sadly deteriorated in the later versions of KDE4. In particular, KolourPaint in Debian 8 has been damaged by a very bad revision, so I am using KolourPaint-Trinity now. It is far better. When I installed Debian 8, I was offered a list of 7 desktop environments to install. I would certainly have tried Trinity at that time, if it had been on the list. If Konqueror-Trinity and Konsole-Trinity need to be given new names in order to get Trinity into the Debian distribution, (to avoid a clash of names with KDE), perhaps I could suggest Clarity for Konqueror-Trinity and Simplicity for Konsole-Trinity, since these names rhyme with Trinity, and suggest some of the defining characteristics of TDE. frequent hangups

Hello: My TDE session frequently hangs. A message window opens at the bottom right corner of the screen saying: "New display output options are available! A screen has been added, removed, or changed." After this the screen inputs (mouse and keyboard) become unresponsive. Running programs keep running. I have to hard reset the computer. This is becoming annoying. I have openSUE 13.2 with TDE R14.0.4. Any idea what causes this and how to fix it? Thanks, Istvan

Increase number title's characters icons desktop

Hello, The numbers of title's characters under the desktop icons is limited to 10, after, the text is on two lines : An example : "Thunderbird" => "Thunderbi rd" How to increase to keep the text on one line ? password root never kept in memory

Hello, When I launch an application, Trinity proposes to keep the root password during 120 min. I anwswer yes with the radio button. But the next time, Trinity did not keep the password in memory and I have to retype it. Thank you and have a good day. André
