Good morning,
i got some problems using my Fujitsu T730. General the touchscreen is working,
but when i open a menu i can not click anything; mouse clicks are also not
working. To get everything back working i need to press Esc.
Sounds to my like a Bug? I think its more QT related, or? I was not only
trying TDE 3.5.13.1, i also tried Slaveks upcoming 3.5.13.2 Release and the
Nightly Snapshots of TDE R14.
Kind Regards,
Richard Lamboj

| Oh, sorry, this was a second problem - i386 (and all) packages have
| already builded, but amd64 is builded later. Soon should be
| available also amd64 packages and everything will be in order
| again.
okay, thanks -- i thought i was going crazy. (which may be true anyway
but at least this isn't evidence of it!)

greetings, good people!
my notebook machine now working properly for the first time in months
through the upgrade to slávek's repository, i thought to do the same with
my desktop machine (also running kubuntu 12.04) but even apt-get
dist-upgrade holds back kdelibs-trinity. it's d/ling right now and i have
a sense that i may be about to break things.
am i right in assuming there is something wrong/i am doing something wrong
here?
thanks for any ideas that might be forthcoming.

many thanks to all those who a.) programmed and packaged and b.) held
my hand getting downloaded and installed slávek's repository. the
kmail certificate issue appears to be resolved. and if i make it
clear through the day without the LIST error popping up, i shall
consider TDE perfection having been achieved and, therefore, the best
of all possible computer desktops having finally arrived!
thank you.

I have a very humble request for Trinity developers. There's an application that used to be
available for KDE3 but is not available for Trinity - KBibTeX v0.2.3. That application is
essential to me at work. Lack of it for Trinity forces me to use an old linux distro with KDE3 on
one of my machines so that I have access to that appliaction. Would it be possible to package
KBibTeX so that it is available for Trinity? The source code for KBibTeX is available here:
http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~fischer/kbibtex/download.html
I will be very grateful to anyone who would be kind enough to resolve this!

| I believe that this bug is already fixed in commit 65c85dca. If you
| are using the stable branch, you can try 3.5.13.2 preliminary

Thanks very much. Is there a repository of these packages that I can
add to my sources.list? (Sorry -- I'm late to the game!)

well.
beyond the hellish problem with tde refusing to believe it when i tell
it to accept a certificate forever, which makes interval mail
checking impossible, there is the "unable to complete LIST operation"
error, which pops up now and again on a daily basis. i've read
archives which suppose there is some malformed spam in the inbox
causing this. but there isn't. and in due course it tends to go away
without any intervention on my part.
are there in existence workarounds for these? the patch for the
certificate issue i have not been able to make compile -- surely
there's a binary for the file involved, somewhere. the LIST issue i
cannot find a solution for at all. both are after the upgrade to the
current distribution for ubuntu 12.04.

Hello
I am desperate: I just tried to de install kde trinity
and now my sudoers file got deleted, a new generated, but
I do not any longer belong to this group. That is why
I cannot use my PC anymore.
Is re installation the only solution?
thanks

Hi everyone!
I am an old KDE3/Trinity user.
Following my own tradition of upgrading ~2 weeks before release I have
successfully upgraded Squeeze to Wheezy. In order to minimize exposure
to a 3rd-party repositories I gave a try for KDE 4.8.4 and was not
impressed. While KDE received much and more neat usability
tweaks, my experience with my own usual use cases was mostly
frustrating.
Now that I checked my options, TDE looks very competitive to a modern
full-blown desktop environments. Congratulations and thank you for your
effort!
So, the question is: when Debian Wheezy repository (of any TDE release)
will be ready? Maybe you need help to test one? I am willing to put
some effort to get back to TDE by the time of Wheezy release.
P.S. Here is an announcement about passing 100RC bugs milestone:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2013/03/msg00009.html
Right now it's 87 and counting:

Best Regards,
Sergey.
Hello
I have installed Kubuntu 10.04 with trinity 3.5.11 (I think) on a X60
Thinkpad Laptop.
This morning the xerver freezed and I had to reboot,
I got a graphical login, could login, kde3 started, however the hard
disk was in read only mode. So I rebooted again, this time it took
almost 15 min to reboot, a sign that some hard disk problem occurred; (I
have the jfs file system.)
Anyhow finally the machine booted again successfully, I got a graphical
login but now I could *NOT* login, the password was accepted but instead
the graphical login screen reappeared.
I could login on a terminal though. So I thought maybe the xorg.conf file
was damaged. But this Kubuntu version does not have a xorg file anymore,
as google told me.
So what can I do?
(1) sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-org ???
(2) sudo X -configure?
(3) sudo dexconfiure -o xorg.con??
Any help is strongly appreciated, because the only other solution it to
try a _complete_ reinstall.
thanks
Uwe Brauer
