I see that the new release of Trinity is now available (Congrats!), and I'm thinking of replacing OpenSuSE KDE3 with it once again, but I have a question first: In OpenSuSE's KDE3 Konqueror, Image View is available in addition to Photobook, whereas, IIRC, Trinity Konqueror only has Photobook, which I find much less friendly. Is there a way for me to get Image View in the Trinity version of Konqueror?

ImageView mode definitely available in Konqueror. Attached a screenshot of my View mode menu. Cheers Michele

Konqueror is fantastic, comes with both photobook & image view.

I agree Konqueror is fantastic, but here I don't have Image View (R 14.0.5 Development). I did not upgrade recently but install is quite fresh.

Is kviewshell-trinity installed? I searched synaptic for "konqueror+image view" and got gwenview-trinity, konq-plugins-trinity, and kviewshell-trinity.

Thanks Jimmy, your answer let me identify what was missing
As soon as gwenview was added (the two others were there) I got image view. I have not tried removing one of the others but those who wish to have image view should install these trhee packages.

Happy to have helped, in the first post I should have mentioned that I have all 3 packages installed.

Ah, good. That's really the only thing that's keeping me on KDE3.

I'm getting ready to switch back to Trinity, and I wanted to print off the installation instructions for OpenSuSE from the Wiki. My first try shows all of the commands truncated (they're quite long in OpenSuSE). Then I tried using the "Printable Version" at the bottom left of the page, but I got effectively the same results (see attached); so I ended up cutting/pasting the text into Kate and printing that off. Kate wrapped the output, so nothing was lost. Is there something that can be changed with "Printable Version" (probably something in CSS) to prevent the truncation? I tried maximizing my browser window and printing in Landscape format, but even that didn't work.

I have split the long zypper command into two row. Not sure if that is clearer to read, but at least the lines are not cut off. Cheers Michele
