I tested it out on all computer using PCLOS.
Some info one the laptop:
OS: PCLinuxOS x86_64 Kernel: 4.20.7-pclos1 CPU: Intel Core 2 T5600 (2) @ 1.833GHz GPU: AMD Mobility Radeon X1300 Memory: 2308MiB / 3000MiB (4G but 1G is used by video)
Trinity: R14.0.5 trinity-kpdf-14.0.5-1.pclos2018
I can call pdf doc properties from within kpdf.

Yes, we had this problem before and we fixed that. It has to do with poppler library. Are you able to test on R14.0.6~pre (e.g. PSB from Slavek repo)?
