Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 with KDE3.5 FINAL now available for download!

The new release of Ubuntu, Jaunty Jackalope 9.04, with KDE3.5 installed is now available for download! The LiveCDs have been built, tested, and are now finalized for Jaunty. Detailed instructions for installation on an existing Intrepid or Jaunty system are available here: http://apt.pearsoncomputing.net For information on starting out from scratch, i.e. installing from a LiveCD, see here: http://wiki.kubuntu.org/Kubuntu/Kde3/Jaunty LiveCD ISO downloads and torrents are currently available at http://apt.pearsoncomputing.net/cdimages Binary patches will be uploaded tomorrow. KDE3.5 Jaunty Beta LiveCD Image Available--Testers Wanted!

I have just finished building a KDE3.5 LiveCD for Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty, available here: http://apt.pearsoncomputing.net/cdimages/ Currently, only the i386 image is available for download, but I am working hard to compile the amd64 version as well. Are there any brave souls willing to try this image out and give me some feedback as to the installed program selections, stability of live and installed systems, default theme, etc.? If so, please report back to the kubuntu-kde3.5-users list or file some bugs! :-) Tim
