The TDE mirror system is now officially back online at full speed! All
TDE files that were on the original mirror system are now available for
download.
We will also continue to add new mirror sites in the future, increasing
the reliability of the overall system. The TDE project thanks those who
stepped forward to provide us with the new mirrors.
Once again, thank you for your patience while this issue was sorted out,
and enjoy!

Many of you are anxious to know when the TDE mirror system will be back
online. The answer is that, if all goes well, full high-speed access will
be restored in approximately 10 days. Due to the recent donations, for
which the TDE development team is grateful, I was able to ship a hard disk
with the entire TDE archive contents to our new primary mirror. That
mirror maintainer will then upload the entire archive to his mirror,
restoring high speed access.
In the meantime I have allowed direct public access to the TDE archive
server. This server is bandwidth limited as you are probably aware, and I
ask that users refrain from downloading large files (such as the source
tarballs) until the mirror system is back online. Extremely slow download
speeds are normal with this server due to loading on the limited bandwidth
connection, but it should help those users who just need a few files until
the mirror system is brought back online.
Once again the TDE project thanks you for your patience while we resolve
the remaining issues caused by the unexpected third-party mirror failure
late last December.

The TDE project is proud to announce the completion of its SVN to GIT
migration project!
See http://trinitydesktop.org/newsentry.php?entry=2012.01.01 for full
details.
Developers, please request GIT accounts at this time. Any account
requests made before the GIT repository opened are NOT being honored for
logistical reasons.
Let's make 2012 a great year for TDE!
