kmail: symbol lookup error: /opt/trinity/lib/libtdepim.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN7TQMutex6lockedEv
Does anybody know what causes this and how to get rid of this?
$ kmail kmail: symbol lookup error: /opt/trinity/lib/libtdepim.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN7TQMutex6lockedEv [2026/06/30 15:11:40.387] [3967] ERROR: Communication problem with kmail, it probably crashed.
$ nm -gD /opt/trinity/lib/libtdepim.so.1|grep locked U _ZN7TQMutex6lockedEv
$ nm -gDC /opt/trinity/lib/libtdepim.so.1|grep locked U TQMutex::locked()
$ dpkg -l|grep '(kmail|libtdepim)' ii kmail-trinity 4:14.2.0~pre168-0debian14.0.0+12~b amd64 Trinity Email client ii kmailcvt-trinity 4:14.2.0~pre168-0debian14.0.0+12~b amd64 Trinity KMail mail folder converter ii libtdepim1-trinity-dev 4:14.2.0~pre168-0debian14.0.0+12~b amd64 Trinity PIM library [development] ii libtdepim1a-trinity 4:14.2.0~pre168-0debian14.0.0+12~b amd64 Trinity PIM library
This occured afte I did an update today where a lot of tde stuff got replaced. As far as I can tell kmail is the only affectd application.

Hi Nik,
this is related to the recent change in TQt. Rebuild tdepim is already queued. However, the PSB packages are first in line, so the PTB will have to wait a little longer.

Perfect. I could get kmail working again with libtqt3-mt_4%3a14.2.0~pre302 had quite some fun hunting down that rabbithole :)
