FW: Techisa Desktop Environment (TDE - Brazil)
by Rodrigo Zimmermann 14 Dec '10

14 Dec '10

From: barrigudo15(a)hotmail.com To: trinity-users(a)lists.pearsoncomputing.net Subject: Techisa Desktop Environment (TDE - Brazil) Date: Mon, 13 Dec 2010 15:55:08 +0300 There is an environment project work done by Brazilians, called SPT (Techisa Desktop Environment) and is also built using QT3. However, the project is currently inactive. I wish you the code offered by aproveitasseo Techisa Desktop Environment, after all its free software. Incidentally, I want to highlight a feature that I found this great working environment in Brazil: the possibility of application launchers monitor its implementation through the menu of right mouse button on the launcher. Another interesting feature is the window manager, which supports many themes that are not supported by Kwin. Who knows SPT-WM may become the next manager of Trinity windows Desktop Environment? Besides supporting more themes, SPT-WM is lighter than KWin. I wish I could see the code being reused Techisa Desktop Environment by this team. [trinity-users] Squeeze users: amarok-trinity and SYSFS boot errors
by David Hare 12 Dec '10

12 Dec '10

amarok-trinity depends on libnjb5 (why?) As does gnomad2, although it was removed from squeeze (lenny version works fine here on squeeze) Maybe they will remove libnjb5. For anyone getting aggravated by many lines of sysfs error messages on boot it is because: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=libnjb5;dist=unstable#_0_3… A quick fix (as root): sed -i 's|SYSFS|ATTR|'g /etc/udev/libnjb.rules

View mode button(s) in Konqueror

Hello, is there a simple way to get the three view mode buttons back? The patch in comment #15 ( https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase/+bug/43949 ) used to work in Kubuntu, but doesn't work on TDE 3.5.12. Thanks to everyone working on Trinity.

Sinhalese UTF8 shows up as squares
by Madura Anushanga 12 Dec '10

12 Dec '10

Hi, I installed Trinity on Ubuntu 10.10 all the KDE 3 apps doesn't show Sinhalese letters(instead it shows squares) there are fonts installed in /usr/share/fonts/truetype. It doesn't show the correct characters even when the font is forced. A friend said that openSUSE KDE shows Sinhalese characters correctly, is there a package that I should upgrade? - Madura A.

DCOP problems under maverick
by Stefan Endrullis 12 Dec '10

12 Dec '10

Hello list, recently I upgraded to maverick and suddenly experienced problems with DCOP commands which worked always fine under intrepid, jaunty, lucid, and karmic. It seems that the QString support has been removed from DCOP in maverick. When I call dcop yakuake DCOPInterface slotRunCommandInSession 'cd /' in a console I get the message cannot handle datatype 'QString' The 'cd /' command is of course not executed in yakuake. Moreover it seems that all DCOP functions that take any QString as parameter or return a QStrings are affected by this issue. In other words: yakuake (and maybe also some other programs) cannot be remotely controlled anymore which is a pitty because I used the remote controlling functionality daily. I used to press F2 in the krusader to open a yakuake session in the current directory, but this does not work anymore. Did someone else experience this problem? Does anybody know how it can be fixed? Regards, Stefan

[trinity-users] Trinity-Lite Installation
by David Hare 14 Nov '10

14 Nov '10

The recommended way to install Trinity is: apt-get install desktop-base-trinity kde-trinity This will install a lot of stuff many users do not need. I prefer a more minimal, customised system. I also make Trinity live-cd's, in which case disk space is an issue. My method is: ############################################## for i in $( cat kicklist-kde-trinity ) do apt-get -y --force-yes install $i done #################################################### I do that on a basic Squeeze install, out of X. The result seems good and everything works. Below is an example of my kicklist-kde-trinity. It would of course vary to individual requirement Any comments? Probably there are unnecessary lines in the list, e.g. deps of Konqueror or Konsole which get pulled in anyway. Have I missed anything important? Could an official trinity-lite method be included in the installation instructions? ################################################################################ amarok-trinity ark-trinity gwenview-trinity gtk2-engines-qt-trinity k3b-trinity k3b-data-trinity kaddressbook-trinity kaffeine-trinity kcalc-trinity kappfinder-trinity karm-trinity kate-trinity kate-plugins-trinity kcoloredit-trinity kcontrol-trinity kcron-trinity kde-core-trinity kde-i18n-engb-trinity kde-style-qtcurve-trinity kdeaddons-kfile-plugins-trinity kdeartwork-trinity kdeartwork-emoticons-trinity kdeartwork-misc-trinity kdeartwork-style-trinity kdeartwork-theme-icon-trinity kdeartwork-theme-window-trinity kdebase-trinity kdebase-data-trinity kdebase-kio-plugins-trinity kdeeject-trinity kdegraphics-kfile-plugins-trinity kdelibs-trinity kdelibs-data-trinity kdelibs4c2a-trinity kdemultimedia-kfile-plugins-trinity kdemultimedia-kio-plugins-trinity kdepasswd-trinity kdeprint-trinity kdesktop-trinity kdf-trinity kdiff3-trinity kdirstat-trinity kdm-trinity kfind-trinity kget-trinity kghostview-trinity khelpcenter-trinity kicker-trinity kicker-applets-trinity kio-locate-trinity kipi-plugins-trinity klipper-trinity kmenuedit-trinity kmix-trinity knemo-trinity knotes-trinity konq-plugins-trinity konqueror-trinity konqueror-nsplugins-trinity konsole-trinity konversation-trinity kpager-trinity kpdf-trinity kpersonalizer-trinity kpowersave-trinity kregexpeditor-trinity kscreensaver-trinity kscreensaver-xsavers-trinity ksensors-trinity ksmserver-trinity ksnapshot-trinity ksplash-trinity ksplash-engine-moodin-trinity ksvg-trinity ksysguard-trinity ksysguardd-trinity ktip-trinity ktorrent-trinity kuser-trinity kwin-trinity kwin-style-crystal-trinity soundkonverter-trinity

Debian LiveCD with Trinity
by Dima K. 10 Nov '10

10 Nov '10

Hello, my name is Dima and I'm a Puppy Linux contributor and Debian fan. I wish to create a Debian (or Ubuntu, if it won't work) LiveCD with Trinity and I don't know how to do this. I've seen the Ubuntu ISOs with Trinity and I want to do the same, but with Debian and a different choice of packages. I read about DebianLive and the manual method to construct an Ubuntu LiveCD, but the former's documentation is lacking and the latter seems complicated and outdated. At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to use Debian Live (according to http://live.debian.net/manual/en/html/live-manual.html) and I'm kinda stuck. So ... my question is: how can I do this (or, how did you create the Ubuntu LiveCD)? Thank you! Dima

kdesudo and kdesu
by David Hare 04 Nov '10

04 Nov '10

Firstly my thanks and congratulations to the Trinity project for such great work and the support for Debian. It is my desktop of choice for Debian Squeeze and looks really nice, more so than the (old) kde defaults. In fact I have run Trinity (ubuntu packsges) on Debian Squeeze since last November. It idles at around 100MB ram usage. I now have a fresh Squeeze install with Trinity from the new Trinity-Debian repos. This was done using debootstrap and chroot. Trinity-kde was installed with apt-get (in the chroot) using a text list of specific packages. I use these methods to minimise bloat. The only issue is, kdesu. I saw an earlier post on this but no resolution. Is nobody else getting this? I can't change the clock or get root from kcontrol, kuser, etc. The workaround is sudo or sux (/opt/trinity/bin needs to go in roots $PATH) in a konsole to open kde apps I do not like to use sudo by preference but in this case I have set my user in /etc/sudoers. (works as expected otherwise, e.g. <sudo kwrite> is successful) Ideally I would like to disable sudo altogether and just use su, sux and kdesu. kdesudo-trinity is installed. In my old Squeeze install I fixed kdesu by adding a text file ~/.kde3/share/config/kdesurc containing: [super-user-command] super-user-command=su No luck with that on the new install In konsole: dzz@exelinux:~$ kdesudo kwrite /usr/bin/xauth: (argv):1: couldn't query Security extension on display ":0.0" No protocol specified kwrite: cannot connect to X server :0.0 dzz@exelinux:~$ kdesu kwrite /usr/bin/xauth: (argv):1: couldn't query Security extension on display ":0.0" No protocol specified kwrite: cannot connect to X server :0.0 . Any ideas what is wrong?

GPG signing key problem
by James D Freels 27 Oct '10

27 Oct '10

Recall below the method for obtaining the GPG signing key for the trinity project. 2. Add the GPG signing key: sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net --recv-keys 2B8638D0 At home, I have no problem at all doing this through my ISP (comcast). However, at work, the port used for obtaining the key is blocked so I cannot add the key to my work data base. I had the same problem with ubuntu keys and had to gain special permissions just to get the key. I was hoping there may be a simpler way to just copy the key over, and install it. Can you send instructions with it ? Thanks -- James D. Freels freelsjd(a)gmail.com

Torrents are stalled in all torrent clients
by Jason Goldfine-Middleton 25 Oct '10

25 Oct '10

Hi everyone, Really excited about the continued development of KDE 3.5 but I have to say it is really hard to find information on the KDE 3 environment since most of KDE 4's apps have the same names... Anyway, I'm using the 64-bit version of Ubuntu 10.10 (Trinity of course) and having issues getting torrents to run in Ktorrent (both the KDE 3 and KDE 4 versions). I have forwarded the ports in my router and also have UPnP running on the router and in Ktorrent. UPnP appears to work in Transmission as well, but the torrents remain stalled. I haven't gotten a single torrent past 0.00%. I'm really bummed because I use torrents all the time and I want to use KDE 3.5 so badly... has anyone else resolved/had this issue? Thanks for your assistance! Jason

Questions on getting kde4(UGH) stuff, what did I do wrong?
by Chris Reid 21 Oct '10

21 Oct '10

Hi Folks, Found TrinityKDE and was VERY happy! Short of a many page diatribe :-), I loath kde4 :). I downloaded and burned the LiveCD and fired it up (happy dance) and just to see what would happen I elected to add kpat (my great time waster :) and much to my disgust I ended up with a very large chunk of kde4 and the kde4 version of kpat(UGH). I do not want *anything* to do with kde4. I've shared the link with a number of people who are VERY happy to hear about this project! How do I set this up so I end up with kde3.5 goodies and none of the kde4 festering sewage? Thanks VERY much in advance!

Hello, all. I've just upgraded my Debian Lenny to the newly released 3.5.12. All seems to have gone well except that my Iceweasel file dialogs have reverted to the Gnome file dialog. Before upgrading, it was very nicely using the KDE style file dialogs. Both debian-kgtk-trinity and are installed. What should I check next? Thanks - John

debian testing install
by Denis Prost 28 Sep '10

28 Sep '10

Hi everyone, I just did a full trinity install on debian testing a few days ago. Things ran smoothly, no problem. Aptitude said that 2 packages had to be replaced by the trinity ones, I said yes and then the install process succeeded. It's good to be back on kde3/trinity, definitely the most functional desktop environment to me. Nice job, Tim, thanks ! Now the few problems I met running it (trinity 3.5.12-0debian7+r1179711) - many strings keeps on being in english, while they where translated in french in kde 3.5.10. For example in kcontrol, all the choices on the left (appearance and themes, desktop, etc.) are in english. Same with the choices on the left in konqueror configuration dialog, or with all the items of the main KDE menu. - the new search field in the main menu is a nice feature but it is very slow (ten seconds response time) - when choosing kickoff menu style, the computer part is all messed up : only the first item is correct, the other ones have strange description text and clicking on them produces a konqueror error (I can send you a screenshot, Tim, if it can be helpful). Anyway, as I said, i am happy to be home, thanks again ! Regards, Denis

You can remove those icons from within the "Device Icons" page. The reasoning behind making them root owned (and therefore impossible to delete from the desktop through "normal" means) is as follows: OLD WAY: User A decides to remove an icon from the desktop. He or she deletes said icon through the delete key and empties the trash bin. User A later on decides that he or she wants the icon back. Since it has been deleted, the only obvious way to get it back is to create a new profile from scratch (most people don't know about /etc/skel). This is not exactly user-friendly! OLD WAY: Developer A notices that one of the icons is broken on some systems, so he decides to change the .desktop file responsible for the icon. However, there is no way to propagate the change to existing user profiles, as /etc/skel is only copied on first login. Therefore, the developer has to instruct people to recreate their profiles, or copy a file from /etc/skel and change permissions on it. This is not user or developer friendly, and acts to make Trinity less accessible to the average user. NEW WAY: User B deactivates the icon through "Device Icons". When User B wants the icon back, it is available in "Device Icons" and can be reenabled with a few mouse clicks. Developer B propagates a .desktop file changes to the system directory where the icons are stored. All users receive the updated icon .desktop file transparently. What I can do is to change the default under Debian to not show the icons by default, however I would like some input from the other Debian users on this list as well. Thoughts? Tim

"Spell/Aspell could not be started Please make sure you have ISpell or Aspell properly configured and in your PATH" Aspell is properly configured and works for other apps, it is the access to Trinity stuff in /opt that I need to fix. Amarok2 system tray icon missing
by Nicolas BERCHER 17 Sep '10

17 Sep '10

Hi Trinity users! I've recently switched from KDE 3.5.10 (Debian Lenny) to KDE 4.4.5 (Debian Squeeze) and was really disappointed by KDE 4 slowlyness (qt4/nvidia driver issue...?). This morning I decided to give a try to Trinity 3.5.12 and I feel... better! Things are almost perfect, fast, etc. just like it was in KDE 3.5.10, even KDE 4 applications appears to run fine (and so, much faster than under KDE 4 itself) However, I wonder if Amarok2 system tray icon is compatible with the KDE3/Trinity system? I've tried various KDE 4 apps that uses system tray icons, and they were ok with that (klipper 4.4.5 for example). Have you got an answer...? Thanks! Nicolas.

From: "Timothy Pearson" <kb9vqf@...> Date: Wed, 1 Sep 2010 10:43:54 -0500 Hi Murray, The outdated 3.5.10 version of kdelibs in the Ubuntu archives (including kdelibs-data) is not compatible with the new KDE3/Trinity version of kdelibs (which includes kdelibs-data-kde3). support for the Suse Linux-distribution?
by Oliver Kullmann 05 Sep '10

05 Sep '10

Hello, I would like to (roughly) know whether there are plans for supporting other Linux distributions than Ubuntu? I for example use Suse. It would be great if the KDE 3.5 would be available at some time as (just!) an alternative desktop in the standard distributions. Are there plans/hopes regarding this? I have experience in installing mathematical software, but I would guess that KDE can't just be installed locally, and there is quite a risk that it might destroy your working system, or? So I would think that for me, as a user, for using KDE 3.5 it has to come in some form supported by standard distributions. Thanks for your time! Oliver

Kate Draven: Boardcom Drivers
by Kate Draven 30 Aug '10

30 Aug '10

Hi I just got an Acer notebook 5334-2598, it has a boardcom wireless device, in mandriva the module is "wl", I was unable to find any native driver. I tried the usual routes of firmware cutter etc, and while the wl module loaded with modprobe, and the device was seen as eth1, it still didn't connect. Is there a how to, so I can compare notes? Thanks in advance to all... Kate

Cannot install kde3
by Ed Jabbour 22 Aug '10

22 Aug '10

I am running Kubuntu Lucid. I added "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kde3- maintainers/ppa/ubuntu lucid main" to my sources, updated and ran "apt- get install kubuntu-desktop-kde3". However, it would not install: kdelibs4c2a-kde3: Depends: kdelibs-data-kde3 (> 4:3.5.12) but it is not going to be installed Depends: kdelibs-data-kde3 (< 4:3.5.13) but it is not going to be installed So, I tried installing kdelibs-data-kde3 but, again, nogo: dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/kdelibs-data-kde3_4%3a3.5.12-0ubuntu6+r1152788_all.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/etc/kde3/ksslcalist', which is also in package kdelibs-data 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-3ubuntu2 Any advice appreciated.

If I remember correctly, SuSE always did this, therefore its sudo program would already have the correct paths in its RPATH variable. Kubuntu has also decided not to alter sudo in that manner just for the Trinity project, so I was forced to alter and recompile sudo if Trinity is to work properly under Kubuntu. Hope this helps! HBasic
by Илья Черных 10 Apr '10

10 Apr '10

I have succeeded to build HBasic in OBS build service for OpenSUSE 11.0, only 32-bit build succeeded. OBS in theory allows to build packages for different distributions including Ubuntu, one only need to provide debianization. Here is the link to the project https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=hbasic&project=home%3AAnsus It would bu nice if you could include it into your KDE3.5 release.

Kill krandrtray?
by Andrew Young 08 Feb '10

08 Feb '10

After starting Kubuntu the display flickers while krandrtray starts, I can then kill it by right clicking and selecting quit. How do I stop krandrtray from starting? I'm using a desktop system with an ATI card which is fairly stable. I don't need the options available in the task-bar as they can be changed via the ATI control centre.

kopete otr always build up session
by Dexter Filmore 30 Jan '10

30 Jan '10

Kopete screws up on OTR: friend of mine uses kopete/otr and gmx multi messenger, a web interface to jabber, when he's in windows. naturally no OTR in gmx, still my kopete always talks encrypted to him no matter what I configure the plugin to do or even if I say "stop session", when I type something new it re-openes the session. KDE3 in OpenSUSE is automatically maintained?
by Илья Черных 25 Jan '10

25 Jan '10

Hi, Timothy. You said that a lot of effort needed to make KDE3 to work under Lucid and some features are broken in Karmic. But in OpenSUSE there is well working KDE3 in the latest OpenSUSE version as well as in the Factory and nothing is broken. It also works well with KDE4 and better integrated (i.e. you can run KDE3 applications from Gnome session console by just typing their name, i.e. 'kate' for example, and KDE3 apps appear in Gnome menu). I asked guys in the mailing lists and the IRC but nobody knows who takes care of the KDE3 repo. People say it is automatically maintained. Currently there is "KDE 3.5.10 release 80", i.e. 80th release after final KDE 3.5.10. I wonder why they have no such troubles with adapting KDE3 to newer distro releases and nothing gets broken. Or why do you experience such troubles?

HBasic2
by Илья Черных 25 Jan '10

25 Jan '10

HBasic2 is an IDE for KDE based on Qt3. Its development stopped in 2007 so there was no Qt4 version ever. I failed to compile it on the modern system, but the binary file seems to work. May be you, Timothy can modify the code sou it to compile and include it into your repository. The screenshot is here (I made it on OpenSUSE, but under Ubuntu it also works after using the alien utility): http://opensuse-community.org/images/d/dc/HBasic2.png This is the binary deb so you can evaluate what is it: http://deboteka.hotbox.ru/ubuntu/hbasic_2a-2_i386.deb The source code is here: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/hbasic/hbasic-2007-2a.tar.bz2?use_mirror=m…

Open Office intergation

I have just installed OpenSUSE 11.2 and would say it has well packaged KDE3. Although it is counted as "unofficial", it is based on their official KDE3 packaging. Among other things they have good OpenOffice integration: when run under KDE3 OpenOffice uses QT3 widgets. Is in possible in Ubuntu?

install report: from 8.04 to 9.10
by Dexter Filmore 03 Jan '10

03 Jan '10

Tried upgrading directly from 8.04. Bah ha hah ha. Left me with a dead system. Good thing I backed up 8.04 beforehand. New approach: Install Ubuntu 9.10 freshly, thus bypassing kde4 entirely, then add Pearson repos. Initial 9.10 without kde fine so far. After installing kde3 all of a sudden terminal input became sluggish. after a keypress it took up to 5 seconds before something happened. Not rebooted yet. Copied old .kde from other partition to .kde3. After reboot: keyboard problem stays, DVB-T via Terratec Cinergy T2 not working. Google. Problem with that Cinergy. Plucked it, keyboard returns to normal. So this is NOT a kde3 problem, seems this just rolled in with another upgrade. Yeah well, now that Shuttleworth said he's had it *buntu will be going downhill I guess... Back on topic. KDE won't even start. /home/dexter now belongs to root:root for reasons beyond me - *that* now seems to be a kde3 thing indeed. Fixed permissions manually. Kopete lost theme settings. Minor casualty. KMail works, no german i18n tho, GPG tested partially, seems to work (hope this still stands when I press the send key....), filters work. Manually added KNewsTicker (one of the main reasons apart from that bloody Phonon thingy why I don't want to switch to KDE4) Konqueror: no Baghira! I can bear with the theme, actually don't use it anymore, but the Baghira sidebar in Konq is one of the more useful additions. I want that back! Help! Gonna reboot now and see if that recompiled v4l drivers do any good to the Cinergy problem. -- -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.12 GCS d--(+)@ s-:+ a C++++ UL++ P+>++ L+++>++++ E-- W++ N o? Can't compile for KDE
by Luca S. 17 Dec '09

17 Dec '09

Hi, I'm trying to compile Gwenview (but this also happened while trying to compile other programs) and when launching ./configure I get this error: checking for KDE... configure: error: in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail. So, check this please and use another prefix! The command "kde-config --prefix" outputs "/opt/kde3", so I've also tried with: ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 but the error came out the same. I've installed: kdelibs4-kde3-dev kdebase-kde3-dev and other dev packages but still I get the error. Any suggestions? Thanks Luca

K3b charset error
by Luca S. 17 Dec '09

17 Dec '09

Hi! When I launch K3b, I get this error: "System locale charset is ANSI_X3.4-1968 Your system's locale charset (i.e. the charset used to encode filenames) is set to ANSI_X3.4-1968. It is highly unlikely that this has been done intentionally. Most likely the locale is not set at all. An invalid setting will result in problems when creating data projects. Solution: To properly set the locale charset make sure the LC_* environment variables are set. Normally the distribution setup tools take care of this." The following is my 'locale' output: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_TIME="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_PAPER="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_NAME="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="it_IT.UTF-8" LC_ALL=it_IT.UTF-8 So what's K3b blabbing about? I tried googling about the problem but couldn't solve... :-( Thanks Luca

An icon file is missing from KDE3

Hi! This file is missing from KNemo Slick icon theme. This is icon for the tray state indicator when the data is both transmitted and received. I have made it from the two other icons. I should be placed in /opt/kde3/share/icons/slick/22x22/actions

problem with kde-3.5 desktop
by James D. Freels 06 Dec '09

I am using kde-3.5 from this PPA on karmic/koala (9.10) for amd64. I upgraded from jaunty (9.04). I also have a i386 laptop and i386 desktop with this same error. There were lots of problems with the upgrade, including some in the kde-3.5 area. However, most of my problems have been resolved one way or another. However, I have a nagging problem that I cannot seem to resolve. I have 3 separate machines all with this same problem. when kde3.5 starts up, an error message box comes up with a traceback (attached is an example). The desktop is not configurable, but I can use all my virtual desktops and the panel otherwise. I cannot set a screensaver, background, or any response from the right click on the desktop screen. How can I fix this problem ? I have already removed all the kde4 packages that I can from my system (at least that I am aware of). dkpg: command not found
by Luca S. 04 Dec '09

04 Dec '09

Hi, I've installed Jaunty with KDE3.5 and I'm encountering the following problem. Even though dpkg is installed (if I launch 'dpkg' in the konsole I get the help text), when I try to use the command to install a package ('dpkg -i packagename.deb') I get the following error: bash: dkpg: command not found This happens both with or without sudo before the command, so it's not a problem of permissions. 'locate dpkg' outputs '/usr/bin/dpkg' but even if I launch '/usr/bin/dpkg -i packagename.deb' I get the same error! Any suggestions? Thanks Luca

problem with kmail
by Jon Shorie 01 Dec '09

01 Dec '09

I am running kubuntu-kde3.5 version 9.10 amd64. Whenever I try to send an email using konqueror 1.9.10 using KDE 3.5.10, kmail crashes when I click the send button. I have tried to switch it to using the send later instead of the send now, but it still crashes. If I go back into kmail and right click on the message in my outbox, I can click send queued messages and it goes through. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions. -- Jonathan R.
