MTP again

Hi, I am sure it was discussed here in the past, but I could not find it. I attach the phone to USB and select MTP (file transfer), It shows up as camera in konqueror and I can not copy files to the device "Creating folders is not supported with protocol camera.". kernel is 4.19.149 if it matters. USB Mass storage was removed a long time ago by google. They claim the other ftps are better. They just removed it because it's easier to track data transfers on MS and Apple that way. I had an LG phone with USB MS and it never had a problem. Until it was run over by a pickup truck. It didn't work well after that. 0_o Kate
