Choosing to see emails of a certain status in KMail 1.9.10

Using Kmail 1.9.10 on Trinity 3.5.13.2, how do I select emails of a certain status? E.G for action or important etc.. There used to be bar at the top right where one could chose from a drop-down menu. Thanks. Lisi

What package provides qmake?

I'm trying to build a tool called glogg, which requires qmake, but I can't figure out which package provides it. I tried YaST, searching in Names, Keywords, Summary, Description, RPM Requires, RPM Provides and File List, and installed qconf and qt3-devel, but so far haven't found it. Help?? Leslie

Preparing updates for 3.5.13

Hello everyone, Since the last announcement was incorporated a second set of patches for a future release 3.5.13.2. Those who continue to use my PPA probably already have the update installed. I expect that the final version 3.5.13.2 would be in the second half of March. YaST2 launch failure

Now that I've gotten Trinity working on my OpenSuSE 12.2 system, I find that starting YaST from the menu no longer works. The command string in the Application tab of the button configuration is "/usr/bin/xdg-su -c /sbin/yast2". When I cut/paste that into konsole and run it I get this message: xdg-su: no graphical method available for invoking '/sbin/yast2' as 'root' which means nothing at all to me. :-) Any suggestions? K menu organization in Trinity

Hi everyone! First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to the persons making Trinity possible! In PCLinuxOS, between different window manager and desktop environment, the layout of how apps are classified is very similar, while Trinity has its own apps classification, which is the same as KDE3. Debian also has an apps classification that is common across almost all WM and DE. I have seen somewhere that the next release of TDE will be freedesktop.org compliant. Does it means that TDE will adopt this new way of organizing apps? I would like to say that I prefer the new method of organizing the K menu than the one used in TDE. As an example, let's look at these 3 menu sub-levels: System, Utilities and Settings. These categories are almost overlapping in each other and it ends up that something that would be better placed in Settings ends up being in System or in Utilities. For this reason, I prefer to use the KickOff menu instead of the classic menu in Trinity, because I just have to type the name of the program I want to start in the search bar at the top, and it ends up being faster than trying to find where is the program I want to start. Of course, the new way of menu classification is not 100% perfect, but I would say that, in my opinion, has made it a little more simple to use. Would it be a good idea to make an option in the menu configuration program to let the users choose between the Trinity way of organizing the K menu (as in KDE3) and the new way of organizing the K menu (as in KDE4 and all the others DE and WM)? remote keyboard shift key not working

Trinity Release 3.5.13.1 Remote (vnc) keyboard shift key does not work. Specifically, when connected to Trinity krfb from any remote vnc client, the shift key does not work, except with the 9 (nine) 0 (zero) and , (comma) keys. This renders remote vnc sessions nearly useless. The bug that I am seeing appears to be identical to that described in this debian bug report: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=595283 See also the referenced kde bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=182073 What are the chances that this can be fixed in Trinity? -Mike, happy Trinity user, except when connected remotely

Precise/amd64, TDE 3.5.13.1, firefox (and other) problems

Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Release: 12.04 Codename: precise ii kdebase-trinity 4:3.5.13-1ubuntu0+ax3~precise base components from the official KDE release ii firefox 18.0+build1-0ubuntu0.12.04.3 Safe and easy web browser from Mozilla Patches are all up to date as of this morning (about 1700 UTC). In firefox, a number of dialog boxes ... maybe all of them ... that involve saving a file or browsing for a file are broken. Example: I need Google Chrome for a site that won't work with anything else. The repo line I found is out of date, so I went to their install website. Selected 64-bit deb, get the download dialog, click OK, then nothing. Never shows up no matter whether I accept the default path or change it. Website reacts like it got the "OK, I'm done signal" and progresses to the next page. I thought maybe it was that old problem that was worked around by using the LD_PRELOAD hack, but no (nor renaming /opt/trinity/share/kgtk/preload). Thought they were worth a try before posting. Add Printer Wizard doesn't work

This is on David Hare's Exe Debian Wheezy. The Add Printer Wizard stalls on the window that lists all the brands & models. The window opens, but never populates with the lists, no matter how long it sits. Tried on 2 different computers with the same result. Any ideas? Is there another way to add a printer?
