Building 3.5.13 with autotools

Does anyone have a script they use to build kdeutils taht I can have a look at ? The how to build docs method cd to whichever module you want to build, then run: cp -Rp <path to your system's libtool.m4 file> admin/libtool.m4.in cp -Rp <path to your system's ltmain.sh file> admin/ltmain.sh make -f admin/Makefile.common Doesn't work for me on arch I am getting undefined references to things like QString and QWidget etc. I beleve that those are defined in qt3 and tqt. I added this CFLAGS="-I/usr/include/tqt -I/usr/qt3/include" CXXFLAGS="-I/usr/include/tqt -I/usr/qt3/include" to configure.in.in and then ran make -f admin/Makefile.common, but it didn't help I also have some linker issues but I'll tackle those after I get the code to build Thanks

Texts menu disappear in LibreOffice

Trinity 3.5.13 on Centos 5.7 In LibreOffice, texts disappear in menus. It's possible to get them back by unconfiguring anti-aliasing in kcontrol. Trying to install Trinity.

Hello everyone! It's my first time using a mailing list. Anyways. I am trying to install Trinity into my desktop computer, but I seem to have a bit of a conflict issue, since I run KDE 4 on it too, and don't want to uninstall this one. I am trying to install using the kubuntu-desktop-trinity, but this package wants me to remove certain components from KDE 4, and even *Sudo*. The packages are these: *sudo kdelibs kdelibs-data kdelibs4c2a* Like I mentioned, I run KDE 4, GNOME 3 and of course Unity, and *do not* want to remove any of these. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Informations about kiosktool-trinity

Hello, I use ubuntu with kde3 trinity and i would like to manage profil and file association for all the users. So i find a package : kiosktool-trinity, j have already use kiosktoll so it was perfect. Bu when i launch the application , it load ..... setting up environnment. Any upgrades to TDE 3.5.13 on the horizont??

Hi all! I've been using TDE 3.5.13 since mid-October, first with the night builds. With the release in November, I try to use as my main desktop, but now it seems I have to go back to "old" KDE 3.5.10, because of some problems with TDE - not so many, but still important one's. My system is a Debian squeeze, so every day I do a "apt-get update" hopefully looking for some correction for the bugs, but every time no updates. So, I would like to know if 3.5.13 will have some bugs correction, and when?? Or will I have to wait for the next main release in estimated 6 months time? Thanks!

Is man kio working ?

Hello, TDE 3.5.13 on Centos 5.7 Did you get man kio working ? If I put man:ls (or #ls) on konqueror, I get a choice between several ls man pages: /usr/share/man/man1/ls.1.gz /usr/share/man/man1p/ls.1p.gz That's OK. But when I click on one of them nothing happens. There is an updated exelinux_squeeze_trinity iso (661 MB) http://exe-linux.fastfishwebsolutions.com/trinity/exelinux_squeeze_trinity_… The associated website is also updated http://exe-linux.fastfishwebsolutions.com/ It is produced from a clean debbootstrap, is current Squeeze with all security updates and TDE 3.5.13 The installer and other custom scripts are updated also. It's intended to keep it GPL and below 700MB As a whole load of gnome libs to sack were found, French and German language support for TDE are now included, in addition to English and Spanish. It is *not* an "official" TDE build and is supported by nobody but me, if even that! It's untested beyond that it boots and installs here, so testers appreciated. Regards, David

Upgrading TDE 3.5.13 Maverick to Natty

The Trinity LiveCD worked well to install TDE 3.5.13 with Kubuntu Maverick, on a fresh system. Now I wish to upgrade to Trinity with Natty and I'm unsure of the procedure. Should I (add) or (substitute) the four 'Natty' lines to sources.list? Or should I just run <sudo apt-get dist-upgrade> using the Maverick-configured sources.list? Or have I missed (the, some) point? gds, stencil
